Some couple don’t have to wait long to conceive, but some may take years of trying before they are able to have a baby of their own. Know your monthly cycle

Even though there are common pattern of monthly cycle, in some cases woman can have different monthly cycle, so it is good for you to know your own monthly cycle before trying to conceive. To do so you can make a chart of your cycle for a few months. You have to take note the date of your first menstruation day and also the day you ovulate. This piece of information will be useful for you to calculate the time you’re most fertile and plan your intercourse around these days.

The knowledge to predict monthly ovulation

A woman will have a period of 5 days within each monthly cycle where they are most fertile. On ovulation day, an egg is released from ovary and only remains viable for 24 hours. The most fertile time for a woman is the 3 days prior to ovulation, on the ovulation day itself and the subsequent day.

Knowing your ovulation day not only will raise your opportunity of conceiving but also will aid you in planning your intercourse in favor of which gender of baby you choose to conceive.

Early preparation

If you are really serious in conceiving, you can start taking prenatal vitamins ahead of time. Take care of yourself by eating healthy food and if you have chosen to try conceiving a specific baby gender you can eat the recommended food that can increase your chance of conceiving either baby gender.
